Hamilton,
Ontario
The Waterfall Capital of the World — where 100+ waterfalls, a thriving arts scene, and the Niagara Escarpment meet one of Ontario’s most exciting urban revivals.
From Steel City to Rising Star
Hamilton has undergone one of the most remarkable transformations in Canadian urban history. Once known primarily as the Steel Capital of Canada — producing 60% of the country’s steel — it’s now earning a reputation as a cultural hotspot with world-class dining, a booming arts scene, and natural beauty that rivals anywhere in Ontario.
Situated at the western tip of Lake Ontario and bisected by the Niagara Escarpment, Hamilton offers something rare: a major city where you can hike past a waterfall on your lunch break and catch a gallery opening on the way home.
With proximity to Toronto, affordable housing relative to the GTA, and easy access to the QEW and Highway 403, Hamilton is perfectly positioned for professionals, families, and investors looking for value and quality of life.
A City Like No Other
City of Waterfalls
With over 100 waterfalls and cascades tucked along the Niagara Escarpment, Hamilton has been called the Waterfall Capital of the World. From the iconic Webster Falls and Tew’s Falls to hidden gems like Sherman Falls — there’s always another to discover.
Thriving Arts & Culture
James Street North is the beating heart of Hamilton’s creative renaissance. Monthly Art Crawls draw thousands, Supercrawl is a nationally renowned festival, and the Art Gallery of Hamilton — the oldest and largest in southwestern Ontario — houses over 10,000 works.
Rich History & Heritage
From the 40-room Dundurn Castle built in 1835 to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum housing one of only two airworthy Lancaster bombers in the world — Hamilton has more than 15 National Historic Sites waiting to be explored.

Hamilton is the proud home of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, located at Tim Hortons Field — where the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have been thrilling fans since 1950. Oskee Wee Wee!
World Record High Fives
Hamilton holds the Guinness World Record for the highest number of high fives during a sporting event — 7,238 at Tim Hortons Stadium during a 2015 World Cup match. That’s Hamilton for you.
